Stroller Storage

What's up with the storage on most strollers being impossible to get to?! The only one I've seen that I could even fathom getting my pocketbook in let alone a baby bag is the Uppa Baby Vista. I had my heart set on the Baby Jogger Citi Mini GT and when I saw it in person I couldn't get over the lack of storage.

Anyone have one they like the store on? Or am I shelling 700 bucks for the Vista?!

    I just don't carry a ton if stuff and it hasn't been an issue. There are hooks you can buy for the back of your stroller for a diaper bag

    I throw the strap of the diaper bag over the handle bar and have a mommy hook for any bags I accrue when I'm out shopping. Most diaper bags have 'stroller straps' now and if not the sell the clip on attachments at most baby stores. The only things I put below in the basket are items like blankets and toys, or my jacket. I will say the snap 'n go type strollers have a large basket, but it seems difficult to access when the carseat is installed, so you may have to unhook it when you need to get into the basket.

    I've stopped carrying a purse pretty much for the past three years unless I'm by myself. When I'm with the kids I usually have some sort of diaper bag and just stick my wallet in it. Storage in strollers totally sucks - we have a city mini double and I pretty much just empty out my diaper bag every time we get in/out of the car unless I really feel like holding it. I felt like our Chicco Cortina was pretty decent with access to storage, but still not ideal.The Britax B Ready and Mamas & Papas Sola LOOK like the storage is decent, but that's just based on pictures I've seen. GL!

    The Vista's storage is just super awesome.  I wouldn't say that it's typical though which sucks.  The storage basket is important for me personally because I carry a purse and when I have that and the diaper bag I need a place to put them.  If you think you'll need the storage then try to get a stroller with something decent but if you aren't a pack rat like me you may have no problem with a small basket.

    The storage was also the reason I didn't buy the City Mini. We have both a BOB and a Bumbleride Flyer.  Both have good storage and neither are $700.  We use both for different purposes and I love both.

    Not sure what I'm going to do for baby #2, but probably a Bob Dualie. 

    My two boys are getting a surprise May 2015!

    I definitely am a pack rat which is why nothing seems to stack up to the storage of the vista!

    We have the city mini and yes it sucks for storage! I got one of those hooks to hang the baby bag from the handle, but it's not ideal. We also have the Bob revolution and its better- I can actually put the bag underneath, but still not the best storage. Plus it's heavier and takes up entirely too much room in the trunk. Tough call.

    We have a McLaren Volo and I think it has great storage. We added the hanging storage bag for the back of the stroller as well. We also have a Jeep Overland for jogging, which has a huge basket in the bottom and a hard closed storage compartment near the handle.

    We have a Chicco travel system and although it's a PITA to bend down and get stuff in/out - I feel like the storage is adequate.  Same on our lightweight stroller which is the Maclaren Triumph.  Our Chicco is heavier so you can hang the diaper bag on it and it won't tip.  If we hang the diaper bag on the Maclaren and DS gets out - it tips. 

    Equally important to stroller storage - I'd make sure whatever you get has at least one cupholder AND maybe a diaper bag with those stroller clips... then you don't have to bend down to get as much out.
