Need lightweight stroller recs

I'm researching what I would like to put on my registry but am coming up short when it comes to a lightweight stroller. While LO is in a carseat we plan on using my SIL's Graco snap n go system (or whatever it's called). But once LO is old enough, I'd like to just use a lightweight stroller. I was pretty sure I wanted to go with the Chicco Liteway, but now I'm not so sure since they say the harness gets to bee too tight once LO is more than 18m. Plus, they also say the canopy is too short. Plus, with the major height difference between DH and myself (I'm 5' on a good day, he's 6'2" in socks) I'd prefer something with handles. Any recommendations? I'd prefer to keep it under $200 if possible, but I think going up to $250 is feasible...

  • The Baby Jogger City Mini is super lightweight, but has all the features of a traditional stroller.  It has an awesome sunshade, full recline, big wheels and easy access to underneath storage.

    It's $249 for a 2012

Or if you don't mind a 2011 version, they are $199 here

I have a Britax Blink that I love. I got it for $80.

It's easy to recline or raise the seat, even with LO strapped in.  It has a decent sized storage bin and a good sized sun shade.  It's sturdy but lightweight and came with a carrying strap and a separate bag in case we want to check it for a flight or something.  And I'm 5'2 and DH is 6'2 and we can both use it comfortably.

This! We actually have the B-Nimble, but it's just the newer version of the Blink. I'm 5'8" and DH is 6'2", and it works great for both of us. He tried out multiple ones, and either the handles were too short or his shins hit the basket when he walked because of his stride length. The Blink/B-Nimble was perfect for him.

  • We looked at the Baby Jogger City Mini and loved it, but decided to go for the City Mini GT instead, which is 4 pounds heavier, has a bunch more features, along with all-terrain wheels (still not for jogging though). This will be our main stroller, our major criteria was for it to be compact and lightweight as I am fairly petite. I walk a lot with our dog, so good wheels are important to us!

We are using the Chicco keyfit caddy (snap n go style stroller frame) with the infant car seat as our super light weight stroller for trips to the mall etc.

  • My favorite is the Maclaren Quest. I like the recline, handling and one hand fold. I thought I'd end up with the GLuxe, but like the Quest much more.

Albeebaby has it right now for 15 off, which makes it 230. Expensive, but it also has a higher weight limit and is a little wider important for me because LO is a big baby!
