another BFN post

so, I POAS and it was BFN.  Then not even 20 min later when I peed AF showed up.  I am so heartbroken.  We are 100% OOP.  IVF is like 20k.  My husband took over his dad's electrical contractor company so we are thankful he has plenty of work, but it isn't like we are rolling in the dough.  We are still paying on DS's c/s and hospital stay.  

I can't stop crying this morning.  I feel like we are at the end of the road and that yes we will someway figure out a way to do IVF, but it might make life really hard around here.  We really don't want to go into debt over this, but I am so impatient. 

Does anyone have the magic rainbow that will get us all pg and make $ grow on trees? 

 

TTC#1: 14 months on our own (did HSG, b/w, SA);
BFP on Cycle 14--TWINS! Identical twin boys stillborn at 19wks(1/9/10)
3 break cycles; took clomid 50mg, BFP #2 Beta #1 35, Beta #2 338!!! Owen was born 2/11/11! 
TTC#2: 4 cycles on clomid: BFNs
BFP #3: Cycle #5 100mg clomid; beta #1 21; beta #2 6=CP 
Cycle #6 break cycle TTC no meds=BFN
Cycle #7: 150 clomid+ovidril+IUI=BFN (switched to RE)
Cycle #8: follistem+ovidril+TI=BFN
Cycle #9 Forced break due to cyst
Cycle #10 follistem+ovidril+TI=BFN
Cycle #11 follistem+ovidril+TI=BFN
Cycle#12 Forced break due to cyst, went on BCP; did repeat HSG, Saline U/S
Cycle #13 IVF: Follistim/Menapur ER 11-30 11 eggs, 5 mature, 4 fertilized and 3dt on 12-3; BFN
Cycle #14: IVF#2 lupron/follistim/menopur ER 1-22, 19 eggs, 14 fertilized, 5dt on 1-27, BFP!! beta 1: 63, beta 2: 119; EDD 10-15-13; 1 frozen embie
Miracle Surprise BFP, EDD 10-1-15; saw HB great Betas, 11weeks lost baby MC at home
Moved forward with FET transfered solo frostie on 6-4-15, beta 1: 315, beta 2: 738, u/s showed one baby on track EDD 2-21-16

    Sending HUGS your way!! I know that feeling you get so hopeful that this is the month and then AF shows up. I haven't done IVF yet but I can imagine the financial toll it can take. I am in the 2ww but I know AF is coming already started normal spotting 7dpo : oh well I guess we are off to another clomid cycle. Fingers crossed we get BFPs next month.

    I'm so sorry.  If it makes you feel better, you are not alone.  I also received a BFN this morning.  It is beyond heartbreaking and frustrating. I hope that we're both able to find some peace...and soon.

    I'm so sorry. We are 100 oop for our ivf and its extremely stressful to have the debt we do. I have no advice, just hugs!!

    I am so sorry. Huge HUGS to you!  IF SUCKS!

    Dx: PCOS and short luteal phase
    18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!
    BFP #1 6/22/09 EDD: 3/2/10 DS born: 3/8/10

    TTC #2 since Dec 2011
    BFP #2 7/8/12 EDD: 3/18/12 M/C @ 9w1d: 8/16/12

    I am sorry, we are also 100% OOP for IVF and FET's.  The first time we took out a zero interest credit card so we could stretch out paying it off with zero interest.  The last two times we have liquidated our savings.  Sometimes your IVF clinic will have free samples of meds or donated meds, even stims.  It is worth asking.  Hugs,  it is so tough spending so much money with the possibility of getting nothing in return.  It is that possibility of a baby that makes it all worth it in the end.

    I am so sorry for your BFN and sending hugs your way. I feel like whenever I poas it's like AF's cue to show up immediately, which totally blows. I wish someone would discover that magical solution for all of us!

    I'm so, so sorry!  I hear you on the stress of trying to make IVF work. We are just about ready to sign a contract to replace our furnace, etc and that will be about $15K. We also need to paint the exterior of our house and do repairs and the first estimate we received for that is $32K. And I'm pretty sure his bid is incomplete.  I don't know how we can fit in the OOP expense of IVF and it makes me sick to my stomach.

    Dx PCOS Three cycle of Clomid- BFN HSG- clear 6/09-Follistim and HCG IUI on 7/7/09 BFN 7/09- Follistim and Ovidrel IUI on 8/11/09 BFP! beta #1-342 beta #2-717 Joey was born on 5/5/10 Trying for #2 since 6/12 6/12- Gonal F and Ovidel IUI on 7/10. BFN 8/12- Gonal F and Ovidrel. IUI on 8/10. BFN 9/12- Gonal F and Ovidrel IUI BFN 10/22 Gonal F, Menopur, Ganirelex 11/4 trigger 11/6 ER 14R 10F 11/11 ET transferred one 4AA embryo beta 11/20! BFP Betas stop multiplying . m/c at 5 weeks moving on to FET if my numbers ever get back to 0!

    Twins DS#2 and 3 born at 31 weeks, 3 days due to a short cervix on 8/2/13.

    I am so sorry!  Now I want to get in my car and come over and give you a hug. 

    IVF is so expensive.  We are not there yet.  My friend just re-financed her house.  She is doing IVF at CC.  I am here if you need anything.
