Whistling

Does anyone else's LO whistle? L has been making this silly monkey face lately no idea where she got it from. Sometimes she will be making that face and if she breathes out she will accidentally whistle. It's hilarious.

Re: Whistling

  • G had been whistling since he started crawling.  He is still trying to figure out how he does it, it's fun to watch his surprise when he hears himself.  He's also been clicking his tongue lot these past few weeks!  My kid is not a talker - but he still makes noise!

  • No whistling here, but DS hisses.  We have a cat who is anti-social and when DS crawls toward him he hisses at him.  So now every time DS sees a kitty, he hisses.
  • No but he LOVES when we do.  It doesn't matter what else has his attention, as soon as someone whistles he completely zones in on them and starts laughing.  I can't really whistle myself so DH hides behind me and does it while I put my lips together lol.

  • DD does do it, but I'm pretty sure she has no idea what she is doing lol.  When I blow on her food, she mimics me and the cutest little whistle comes out.  Also when she sees me eating she points to my food and blows and a little whistle comes out.
