Hi girls,
I've been using the Angelcare monitor since my son was born. I love it for the peace of mind it gives me; lately, it's been going off about twice a night (giving me a heart attack in the process). My son moves around A LOT in the night, and often times ends up along one far side edge of his crib, on his side. This will set the alarm off, as there isn't a lot of contact with the mattress (it can be one end of the crib, or the other). I've cranked the sensitivity up all the way, and it still seems to be going off. My son sleeps through the night, but I don't because I'm up two or three times to turn the stupid thing off, or to pull him back down to the center of the crib. Any suggestions?
- Also, we have followed all the install instructions, and placed the pad on plywood.
Thanks!
Re: Angelcare monitor alarms
We were having this problem and couldn't figure out how it.
I started putting her in a microfleece Halo sleepsack because it got cold. She now can't move around as much as she used to and it hasn't gone off lately! If it is cold where you are, might try a sleepsack to see if it limits his movement. My LO still sleeps great even though she can't move.
