No matter what I eat, I am still ALWAYS HUNGRY! I bring like 3593925802580 snacks with me to work and it's never enough!
Whenever I try to hold off on eating (because I just ate something else not too long before), I'll end up getting so hungry again that I start getting sick. Which leaves me no choice but to have to eat once again.
Will it always be like this?
**This is how I look when I eat lol**
Re: Can't...Stop...Eating!
Over-40 parents...what we lack in vigor, we make up for with cunning.
Now that just made me super hungry! lol
But that's exactly how I would eat too.. it sucks. It's either eat or get sick for me. I'd rather eat because, well.. who wouldn't it? Just not this damn much! lol
My other problem is.. I am always craving a little bit of EVERYTHING. Meats, veggies, fruits, sweets. I want it all!
Same here, I always try to make sure I bring fruits and veggies to snack on at least. Unfortunately, there are those moments (which happen pretty frequently) where I'm completely craving some chocolate and anything else that I shouldn't eat.
ETA: Mmmm.. chocolate covered pretzels lol.
You know what, I like that idea! lol. Anything to not make me look like a complete fatty.
The screwed up thing is.. the growth spurts are going to be even more intense now.. oh man. Sometimes I question what I got myself into lol.
Hopefully it's something that will fill you up til you get home!
Don't you love when work provides lunches? Whenever they do it over here, it's always something really delicious!
Well think about it this way...your LO will have a well rounded palate
Our hunger is probably due to our LO's going thru their growth spurts so we are doing our job by nourishing them- at least this is what I say to myself so I don't feel so bad
BTW your cravings sound like mine...LO wants a little bit of everything too. Hope our hunger and cravings subside back to normal levels soon
I think this all the time - when I'm starving, nauseous, tired, feeling fat. My life was so easy when it was just me and my husband (minus future baby) and we could be selfish with our money and not worry about taking care of another human. Don't get me wrong, very excited but still wondering...
They are providing dinner tonight too. I'm not that excited about either this time though. I have to be social and schmooze with people I don't know and I'd rather just go home. Oh well. The food should be good though.
I had to eat my lunch at 11:30 because I couldn't wait any longer. Now that I'm reading about food, I'm sad it's gone and I want more.
I crave sour: dill pickles, salt & vinegar chips, sour patch kids. I'm normally a sweets person, but the baby does not agree.
You hit the nail right on the head. I have no one other than myself and DH to worry about and we enjoy our peace and quiet relaxing after a long day at work.
I can accustom to change, but this baby is going to be the most drastic change of my life. Although I'm extremely excited for it, I'm scared sh!tless. Knowing that nothing will ever be the same is hard to take in.
I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling this way. The emotions are just a bit overwhelming.

Obviously, you are not alone in this.
I work for a cheese company so we usually have a pretty good stock of cheese around and our company store also sells beef and turkey snack sticks and our lunchroom is stocked with crackers. Not to mention people bring stuff in all the time so I usually have more than enough available.
My indulgences today already has been: bagel with strawberry cream cheese, cheese and turkey snack sticks, applesauce, celery and peanut butter plus about 3 glasses of water. Still looking forward to my orange chicken, veggies and rice for lunch too.
Best wishes.
Haha this is very true, considering the fact that I have so much diversity in my everyday diet. I love switching it up!
I still can't believe how much and how fast our LO's are growing. It's so incredible to think that just some weeks ago, they were the size of a poppy seed!
I hope it subsides for us as well, being hungry sucks!
That's too far away! lol
But hey, at least it got better..
You're getting the royal treatment! lol
I understand though, I've become a bit anti-social myself. All I want to do at the end of my work day is go home and relax. I don't want to be bothered or do anything other than housework that needs to be attended to and cooking (but of course).
That's exactly what I go through on a daily basis lol.
I always TRY my hardest to hold off eating until 12, but I am absolutely starving by 11. So, I sometimes surrender to eating earlier than originally desired.
Yummmm.. all of those are things that I love to demolish (especially the pickles - I've got a jar readily available at all times at home lol). I've always been a fan of the salt & vinegar chips (especially the kettle cooked ones) and I've always been a sucker for some sour patch kids (I've been really into Haribo gummy bears a lot).
See, that's what I'm scared of. Especially because I had gained some weight right before I got pregnant (and was determined to lose it, until I got my BFP). So I started off not being where I want to be.
Hopefully the weight slowly increases for you from here on out, because I can completely understand your frustration. You don't want to eat so much, but you feel like you have to in order to feel fine.
Oh the sacrifices we are already making for our LO's. Hope you feel better hun.
I want your job.
I cosign all of this.
I've been like this all week now. I am just going with it. I haven't gained any weight so far and I am making sure that most of what I eat is healthy, so I don't see any reason to make myself hungry. Plus I am still nursing DD in addition to being pregnant so I figure if I'm hungry, I really need to eat.
Mmmmm lucky lady! Am I the only one with cheese cravings? Especially cubed cheddar cheese.
At least you have a variety of different things available for you to munch on throughout the day!
You are definitely NOT the only one with cheese cravings. I am obsessed with Polly-O string cheese.
Lunch was disappointing: a plate of fruit and a cup of sorbet. Not enough for a hungry pregnant lady! My boss already told me to go get a second lunch. Dinner better be more food than that!
