anyone taking folivane-f?

My dr prescribed me a prenatal but medicaid didnt cover that one. so the pharmicist suggested Folivane-F. I can't really find much info on the web...like what and how much is in it....I have it, but now im debating whether to take it or just keep with the OTC cheapie walgreens brand.

    hope you dont mind me "bumping" this up since it was late last night.

     

    NM - just found this which alone makes me want to take my cheapie OTC prenatal....i saw another one that was a prenatal. stupid, stupid. i guess the pharmacist got them confused.

     

    What should I discuss with my healthcare provider before taking multivitamin with iron?

    imageIron and certain vitamins can cause serious or life-threatening side effects if taken in large doses. Do not take more of this medication than directed on the label or prescribed by your doctor.

    If you have any medical conditions, ask your doctor before taking a multivitamin with iron. If you have certain conditions, you may need a certain vitamin formulation or special tests while taking this product.

    imageDo not take multivitamin with iron without telling your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. Some vitamins and minerals can harm an unborn baby if taken in large doses. You may need to use a prenatal vitamin specially formulated for pregnant women.
