Oatmeal

Do you still give LO baby oatmeal or have you switched to the regular "adult" stuff?  I've been giving LO the baby oatmeal still.  This morning she was pouting and just had to have a bite of what I was eating.  So I gave her some of my regular oatmeal and she did great and loved it.  I'm thinking we can toss the baby oatmeal now...

    we never gave baby oatmeal, he's been fine with regular. when he was younger i did make more of an oatmeal flour though in the food processor. i only did that once (the oatmeal lasted about a week).

    We still do baby oatmeal mixed with fruit and just make it much thicker.

    He pretty much refuses anything that can be fed to him with a spoon right now!   All he does is try to take the spoon and eat it or fling it everywhere.  I have given him a bite of real oatmeal before and he liked it.  I'm sure its fine to switch now. 

    I can't believe our babies are getting to be such big kids!  Ahh...where did the time go?

    We are still using the baby oatmeal and probably will for a while because my mother just bought a HUGE box of it, but I don't think it really matters.  The only thing that might be different is that the baby oatmeal has more iron in it, but I haven't compared the two and don't know if that's an issue at this point.

    She used to get baby oatmeal for breakfast but she isn't eating solids at DC for right now... I have a whole box of baby oatmeal so I am just giving her some every night before bed just to use it up. When I run out I wouldn't buy more.

    DS never had baby oatmeal, only the oatmeal that I am eating.

    I haven't really given her baby oatmeal since she started eating more foods.  This winter I'll just give her regular oatmeal (when she's ok with being spoonfed.  She typically prefers to just feed herself)

    I bought some organic fine cut oatmeal at the store that we can both eat. She has had it once and was okay with it.
