So this may have been a stupid FTM move and if it is, please don't flame, just wanted to prevent someone else from doing this.
LO woke up for a feeding at 4 and would not go back down for anything, so we decided to put her in the Moses Basket between us, we sleep in a queen size bed. Well it worked because she instantly went to sleep. It was uncomfortable though...thank God. DH is a bigger guy and I woke up looking at the bottom of the basket. It had tipped on it's side and rolled LO out of it and she was on her side against DH's chest. I panicked and picked her up, luckily she was ok, just startled awake, but it could have been much worse. I assumed DH's body weight rolled it towards him.
So just an FYI, Moses baskets are not for co cleeping.
Re: First heart attack..Moses Basket PSA
I build the Fort Knox of pillows between DH and DS and I so that hubby can't roll onto us. It starts at the center of his chest and goes down to his knees so that the top portion is clear of blankets and pillows just in case baby turns to face Daddy.
DH has also started elbowing me in the head since baby has arrived... he must be overtired
Also agree with the weight of daddys, he tries to cuddle to my back while I'm nursing in bed and it throws everything off.

I've done this before. It's so bizarre to wake up thinking he's with me when he wasn't.
