Bumping from L&D
contractions started 4am yesterday even though I was already scheduLed for inducing that night at 6. Pain of contractions became massively stronger throughout the afternoon but not closer together. The Dr. Had me come to hospital at the scheduled time anyways and they began to pump fluids for future epidural and pitocin.
Got epidural at 4cm dilated. only felt 1 contraction after administration, then none. I am still able to move legs a little which I wasnt expecting. It kind of feels like when your Toes get numb from being out in the cold/snow too long. EPidurals are fantastic! Wow kudos to the ladies who go without, I literally can't feel pain.
AnYways, T&P please as there is risk of shoulder displasia because he is so big(almost 10lbs). So they will c-section if I stop dilating.
Wifi at hospital is helpful as a distraction while hubby sleeps.
