Broomfield area pediatrician

Hi all -

 DH & I are beginning our search for a pediatrician, we are due with our first child in December. So far, I'm only aware of Broomfield Pediatrics and Arvada Pediatrics (Broomfield office). We go to Broomfield Family Practice for our PCPs, and I know they have peds docs in the office, but I think we'd prefer a practice that focuses on kids.

We plan on calling around of course and meeting with several docs, but I thought I'd check here first for info. Does anyone recommend any of the above, or others in the area?

    I highly recommend Dr. Gina Herrmann at Arvada Pediatrics in Broomfield. You will love her!  She takes her time with her patients, she is great with children and she has very young children of her own.  If you call any peds office to visit, don't call or go in on a Monday, it's the craziest and sickest day to visit a pediatrician's office. One thing I love is that they always fit our child in for illness or injury asap. Their PA's are amazing and one of them sent our child for a chest xray suspecting she had pneumonia from her lung sounds; I thought she was crazy since our child's only symptom was a fever and was a ball of energy. She was right, our daughter had pneumonia.  We are the neurotic parents of an only child and have been to other pediatricians but Dr. Herrmann is a keeper, we feel so lucky that we found her!!!

    Check out Indian Crest Pediatrics in Westminster ( 92nd and Wadsworth).  We have seen Dr. Shah and her PA, Mark, and love them both.
