  Congrats again to Daysie and Nikki!!! Hugs to those that need it, and GL to everyone else!!  
  
  Update: Took my last BCP last week. Waiting on AF but the nurse says I might not get it and that's fine (weird!). Still on Lupron, and had my first painful injection last night. The needle hit resistance, so I think maybe we somehow hit a muscle? It bled. My muscle was tight for a while. It was awful. I start stims this weekend (baseline Wednesday), so I'm hoping THAT never happens again, with any of these injections!  Otherwise, doin' good!!

  I'm both. I LOVE movies, but I also read every night! It's like an addiction. I really love Allison Brennan for suspense. Not sure I really have a fave actor

  Congrats to everyone who is at the ER/ET stage this week!

   AFM, I had my third monitoring appointment this morning (stim day 8) and biggest follie was only 13mm, though I have several.  I just got a call from my RE though, apparently my E2 levels have really shot up since Friday, so they want me back in the morning to see how things look.  Assuming everything keeps growing--I think I'm looking at ER on Thursday or Friday.

  I think I probably read more than I watch movies.  I really like John Sandford novels, and Emma Donoghue ("Room" was an amazing book).  But if a movie has Ryan Gosling in it, I'm watching!!

  Had my baseline b/w and u/s this morning. u/s looked good, B/w is good but hormones a a little low. BCP worked a little too well and my ovaries are asleep. No meds for a few days to wake them back up. I will start 1 Clomid on Thursday and go back in for b/w on Friday. If all is well, I will add in Gonal-F on Friday. Wake up little ovaries!!

  I'm a big reader. I have a ton of favorite authors, it's too had to pic one so I'll break it down by my two favorite genres. I love crime fiction. My favorites are Michael Connelly, Lee Child, and (because I'm a big tv watcher too) Richard Castle. In the girly book department, I love Nicholas Sparks, Emily Griffin, and Jill Shalvis.

  And I'm also in love with the Hunger Games trilogy and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy.

  Mainly I love reading things that continue on beyond one book, whether that be plot/storyline based or character based.

   ETA: Congrats to the BFP's and (((BIG HUG))) to Bluek.

  Also, Shout out to my Mini Cycle Bud, Lacy. Fx that all is well and you'll be ready to start stims soon too!

  QOTD: Honestly, I like both, but I probably more of a movie person. I have a few favorite actors/actresses. I guess Bruce Willis and Julia Roberts are at the top of my list, just to name 2.

  No updates here.  Very anxiously awaiting beta on Wednesday.  The RE who did my transfer (not my doc) said I can go in one day early for beta if I want (tomorrow).  Unfortunately, Tuesday is my CRAZY busy day at school when I couldn't take a phone call if my life depended on it, so I think I'll just wait it out until Wednesday when I can actually answer the phone and not have to stand in front of a class and teach after getting the news (good or bad)!

  QOTD: I love reading and frankly, the trashier the better!  I love Nora Roberts, Danielle Steel, etc.  I do a lot of academic reading for work, so for pleasure I like to junk it up.  I really love series, too, and have read all the latest fade series (Hunger Games, Girl With, Harry Potter, Fifty Shades, etc.).  Not a big movie fan.  DH and I hate seeing movies in the theaters because people never seem to behave properly in that setting (talking, texting, etc.) and I usually fall asleep if we try to watch movies at home, so movies and me just don't mix.  Plus, I used to work in a movie theater when I was in high school, so I think I OD'd on movies back then...

  UPDATE ON ME:  FROM  

  So I had my 1st ER back in August, they put me under IVF Sedation....when they went into my right ovary I felt nothin and remembered nothing. When they went into my left ovary I woke up in pain and told the Dr. And Nurse I was in alot of pain.

   Fast forward to my ER ths Saturday....same as before...I remember nothin on my right ovary, but woke up in horrible pain in my left....started crying dring reterival on that side. ( now I have a high pain tolerance...have had multiple kidney stones and ruptured cysts during my 20's...so I'm use to pain).

   My Dr never said why he thought my Left ovary always had me in pain like this.  Today my left ovary hurts alot and I'm still taking Vicodin.  

  Anyone ever have an issue like this during ER? If so did you get any answers on why? 

   During my 1st egg reterival the Dr did find Endo in the left tube....coud this cause the issue?  I told my DH I couldn't go through another ER in my left tube if I was going to endure this much pain. 

   Needless to say we only got 6 eggs this round and of those 6 I wasn't mature and only 3 fertilized by themself.  We are scheduled for a 3DT due to only having 3.

  I'm so over this.

  Update: I'm officially in the 2WW and I think it's going to be a long 9 days! I had ET on Saturday and my beta will be on 10/23. I'm going back and forth on whether I want to test with a HPT before or wait until beta. Good luck to everyone!!

  Update: I am anxiously awaiting my appointment this Friday. It's so strange how little I visit the RE for an FET compared to a fresh cycle. Less then 2 weeks to go until FET 2.0! My hormones are definitely starting to kick in now from all the estrogen and progesterone shots - DH practically had to hold me back from yelling at an annoying group of people at Costco yesterday!

   

  QOTW: I love going to see movies but I am for sure more of a book reader. I'd say I read an average of a book and a half a week, if I'm being conservative.

  Update: Had my monitor appt this am. Looks like I have 12 follies and about 7 will be mature. Nurse called me tonight for med dosage and Tom night looks like I will have my Trigger shot. Thurs is the scheduled ER woooohooooo!

  Tonight was the first night where I was done done done with the shots. I feel exhausted, and just want to sleep, lol hanging in there. ALl and all not a bad time. Just ready to get ER done.

  Best of luck to my fellow Pumpkin patchers!!!!

  BIggest hugs looks like Thurs ER for myself also. It is amazing how the E2 levels can just double like that in a matter of a day or 2. Fx they keep growing.

  Update for me:  Started stims tonight.  Woop woop!  187.5 Gonal-F.  I go in Thursday for my first monitoring appointment.

  QOTD: I like movies and books.  I love Jason Bateman - i think he is so funny!  As for books I don't really have a favorite author, I just like reading what is new and popular.  I can't read the same type of book over and over I like to switch up genres often.  I have read a lot of Jodi Picoult though, I like how she writes and her characters.

  Update: Tonight is last BCP and DHEA !! whoo hoo! so over the BCP too! I have a baseline dr appt fri 10/19 and hopefully if all is good I start Clomid on sat for five days....and possibly some shots mixed in as well. this Mini Ivf thing is weird so I have no clue what to expect.

  QOTD: More of a book reader and have not read anything latley but will for sure start some books before I get all caught up in this ivf cycle i love Philippa Gregory and anything that has some real history in it, aslo a good trashy novel every once in a while is good! Looking for something funny to take to Hawaii in Dec so any suggestions would help!

  No updates here.  Very anxiously awaiting beta on Wednesday.  The RE who did my transfer (not my doc) said I can go in one day early for beta if I want (tomorrow).  Unfortunately, Tuesday is my CRAZY busy day at school when I couldn't take a phone call if my life depended on it, so I think I'll just wait it out until Wednesday when I can actually answer the phone and not have to stand in front of a class and teach after getting the news (good or bad)!

  QOTD: I love reading and frankly, the trashier the better!  I love Nora Roberts, Danielle Steel, etc.  I do a lot of academic reading for work, so for pleasure I like to junk it up.  I really love series, too, and have read all the latest fade series (Hunger Games, Girl With, Harry Potter, Fifty Shades, etc.).  Not a big movie fan.  DH and I hate seeing movies in the theaters because people never seem to behave properly in that setting (talking, texting, etc.) and I usually fall asleep if we try to watch movies at home, so movies and me just don't mix.  Plus, I used to work in a movie theater when I was in high school, so I think I OD'd on movies back then...

  I am definitely both! Although I don't have a favorite author; I'll read anything that's written well. I do have a favorite director, Tim Burton. Every thing I have seen by him I have really enjoyed.

  Update: ER tomorrow morning at 9:40 am!  Excited, nervous, bundle of emotions right now.  Curious to see how many eggs we get since it took an extra week for my body to respond to the meds this time.  I keep reminding myself, it just takes 1 egg and 1 sperm.  Fingers crossed we get a good Fert repot on Wednesday.  My doctor doesn't give beta numbers though I will go in a few times during the 2ww for blood work.  "Official" blood pregnancy test will be November 2nd. 

  QOTD: Are you a movie watcher or a book reader? And Whos your fav actor or author?? I used to be more of a book reader but am now more of a movie watcher.  My husband I go to the movies about once a week.  I did spend our entire vacation reading on the beach and am trying to read a little bit each night.  No favorite author or actor at this time.

  Update: FET 1.0- I started estrace pills (2x daily) and estrogen patch on 10/5. I have a lining  check this thursday (10/18) and hopefully start progesterone that day with an ET a week from tomorrow (10/23) FX!

  I'm not a huge movie watcher (at all) and I don't read as much as I should so my answers to the QOTD would be very lame ;P I'm more of an athlete/sports person...all my free time (prior to IF) was spent exercising and playing sports. I miss it.

  In the 2WW...Beta is on Wed.  I have been taking test for the past 3 days all are negative.  Starting to get discouraged about it and had a rough night of crying and breaking down to hubby over the phone since he is out of town on business til Wed night.  I think subconsciously I had my "I'm not pregnant melt down" tonight because Wed I have work and go straight to my grad school class until almost 10PM.  I won't have time to morn or cry and let it out so I did tonight, even before I know the real truth.  I am 11dp2dt.  Looking at the percentage charts of BFPs, only 68% of people getting BFP get it on 13dpo, so I guess I still have a change, but for some reason I am feeling really depressed and negative about the chances.  I will let everyone know what happens.  Thanks.
  

  7/18/12-1st RE appointment CD2 blood work taken. Told to move straight to IVF. Starting BC pills and FSH injections plus Lupron. Hopefully doing ET in September Off BCP March 2011 Started TTC July 2011 7 months TTC with no luck an then.... Diagnosed 2/24/12 with 2 Ovarian Cysts. 3/22/12-Lap to remove cysts, look for endo, and see if tubes are clear. 3/22/12-Diagnosed with Severe Endo(tubes are clear). 4/4/12-Post op OBGYN appointment. Told chances of conceiving naturally are very low, but told conceiving in the next few months is our best chance due to being cleaned out during Lap. Referred to a RE. RE said IVF is our only chance to get pregnant. Told only a 20% chance even with two put in. 9/5-Lupron 9/20 Stims(Menopur & Follistim) 9/30 Trigger time 10/2 ER 10/3 fert report-out of 7 eggs retrieved only 2 fertilized. Hello "Thing 1 and Thing 2!" Kinda sad there is none to freeze. Because only 2 we will have 2DT to get them back into a natural envionment 10/4 ET. Found out that only 1 divided. We love you "Thing 2." Thing 1 is now snuggled inside me and we are praying it will be our take home baby! **Did not even make it to my beta, the day before on 10/16/12 I got my F'in period** Such a stab in the heart. Nov 2012-Moving onto domestic newborn adoption! Can't wait for my take home baby. We will try IVF again after 1-2 years of a clear head. Need a break from infertility treatments/issues for my mental sanity!

  Update: Still on OCP's and will add Lupron on the 28th. Will be in for baseline for FET on November 8th. Hoping this delay goes by fast!!

  QOTD: I do like to read....Stephen King the most, but movies are probably more my fave. Favorite actors would be Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, and Tom Cruise come to mind.

  Congrats to the BFP's.. (((HUGS TO EVERYONE))))

   I started Estrace/estradiol yesterday, going back for linig check Friiday AM.  I was at 4mm yesterday.  our donor will start her stims soon.  ER still scheduled for on or about 10/29.  I've been drinking a lot of red raspberry leaf tea!  

  Im both a reader and movie person..I like non fiction books  (business books and biographies) and adventure and comedies for my movies.  Although I did break down and read (nope, change that) DEVOURED the Hunger Games Trilogy before seeing the movies.  I'm currently reading The Pumpkin Plan (which yes, is a biz book) on a friends suggestion, and am going to Hotel Transylvania this weekend..
