Infantino "Balance" working great for our family!

I love wearing my LO, and the Infantino Balance (think=cheaper Ergo, without quite as many bells and whistles) has worked wonderfully for us since our LO was about 3 months old. Before that we used the K'tan, but I never really warmed up to the K'Tan that much--if it hadn't been given to me as a gift, I would have never purchased it.

I bought the Infantino Balance at Ross for 24.99 and I just wore my 97% height 7.5 month old on a 5 hour hike and a 3 hour hike in Rocky Mountain National Park without any back pain at all. I was even able to turn her around to the front and nurse her as we continued to hike.

I am fairly tall, and it seems to fit just fine. LO is very comfortable in it, and snoozed quite a bit in the afternoons.

I also frequently wear her when walking the dog or walking to the neighborhood park, and it is great for these shorter distances, too. When she was smaller, we just put a rolled-up receiving blanket in the bottom of the carrier to raise up her head to "kissable" level.

All in all, it is a great carrier for the very low price!

Glad to hear it! It is great that Infantino has started making carriers with an ergonomic seat for baby - and certainly are a great option for those not looking to spend a lot!
