Tips for ballet class success

Hello!

 My 2.5 yo DD is about to start her first ballet class.  I'm really hoping she likes it but I am a bit worried because it will be her first class that is not mommy and me style.  Parents watch through a viewing window.  I was wondering if you had any tips on how to make this a success or how to prepare her that I will not be in the room.

    We started at 3 and my DD went in right away...our class is 3-5 though & seh goes to daycare. Only one out of the 6 girls in there resisted on the first day. I think I would just get her really excited about the outfit and about how she needs to listen to the teacher and how there will be other girls learning with her...

    DD just started last month.  We had done the mommy and me class before, but she's been home with me since May and only with a babysitter before that, so I wasn't too sure how she'd do.  I talked to her about how she was going to a big girl class and only the girls would be in the class, no mommies aloud.  She loves dance so she was very excited to go, she stopped at the door for a minute then I told her to go ahead and sit with the group and she ran right in.  She does have one friend in the class so that probably helps too.
