Teething = pushing bottle away?

So my LO will drink 2 ounces and push the bottle away. Could this be due to her 2 teeth coming in? I know she is hungry and fusses. Daycare tells me sometimes she refuses to eat. I am puzzled and worried she isn't getting enough in throughout the day. Her bottles are only 4 ounces to begin with. Ay thoughts?

Re: Teething = pushing bottle away?

  • Evelyn does this sometimes.  She does this when she's full, tired, distracted, and when she teethes.  If she is teething, the suction from the drinking from the bottles hurt.  Try soothing her gums before a feeding using a cold teether or wash cloth, and I use the baby teething gel (I know some aren't using those) if that doesn't seem to work.  GL!
