I don't mean to upset anyone. I'm just curious how BLWers feel about food pouches. I thought BLW was a method used to help the baby learn food texture and prevent overeating or comfort eating. Are food pouches compatible with those goals? My first impression is no, but id love to hear your opinions. I plan to make Joseph's baby food. We haven't started yet and I'm still gathering info.

If they can feed themselves the pouch, it's not against the rules.
Also, I hate that there are rules. I'm going to UO this.
I gave Matilda one - "organic broccoli peas and pears", she seemed to really love it. She held it herself but I did "help her" a bit. Of all the foods I've given her so far to eat, this was definitely what she was most into.
They are expensive when you consider what you are getting (it says 35 calories for the whole thing!), however she has eaten from it twice so far and I'll give it to her again tonight so for 3 days, $1.79 ain't bad.
That's why you buy them on sale!!!
