I love talking about food now that I'm breastfeeding! I'm hungy allllll the time. We are havin friends For dinner tomorrow and I can't decide what to fix for dinner and dessert! Ideas!?
My family loves "Cheesy Potatoes", or "Party Potatoes":https://www.yummly.com/recipe/PartyPotatoesRecipezaar_1 It is sooooo good...it's a Thanksgiving staple, but I love making it for the weekend too.nbsp; It's definitely no health food thoughnbsp;[;]
Mmmm yum! What do you serve with it? I'm making the whole dinner.

We usually have it instead of our potato dish (ie: mashed, baked, etc...) so usually there is a vegetable like green beans, and probably a roast chicken or turkey. It's pretty filling, but very delicious, so you don't need much else!
Back in ye old pre baby days I'd have whipped up somethin fancy from one of my cookbooks or bon appetit magazines. I always liked things that would be prepped and ready to either put in the oven before people arrived/or ready for the grill in summer. This might mean a nice casserole/braise/stew dish or some such, or I might stuff a chicken or a pork loin and roast it. In summer I like to do Kebabs. Tons of possibilities and they look pretty
About a week ago we had friends over for dinner and I made enchildas using a jar of sauce. *hangs head in shame*. For dessert, I served ice cream (NOT homemade). Sigh.

For dessert I like (used to like) to make pies. Chocolate cream pie was my favorite - I use this recipe https://www.scrumptiousphotography.com/2009/04/chocolate-cream-tart-tuesdays-with.html
