My kids are almost 1 and almost 4, I've gotten back into fairly decent shape, but am looking to cross the plateau and really tone up and lose these last 7-10 pounds. I do cardio nearly every day -jog, bike, push the double stroller for hour long walks, etc. and I've started the 30 Day Shred for toning/strength/abs and more cardio. I am on Day 4 and plan to do it every single day.
The first 2 days were very challenging, I already felt stronger by day 3, and have moved on to the second of the three levels. My question is - is this video meant to get you in really good shape ON ITS OWN, with a healthy diet of course, or is it meant to supplement with other cardio that you are doing? I guess to me, 20 minutes even pushing myself really hard, doesn't feel like I am burning enough calories for weight loss. I can already feel my muscles toning, but I want toning AND weight loss.

I have done the shred several times over the years. I will do it one day followed by 15-20 minutes of light cardio after and the next day I will do full out hour long cardio.
Right now I am doing this with her 6 week 6 pack DVD. I do it plus 15 minutes on the elliptical and the next I run 3-6 miles.
