Table & Chair set

Hi,

I'm looking to get my 2 year old twins a table & chair set for xmas. Anyone have one that they love?

Re: Table & Chair set

  • DD has one of those cheap character sets from Walmart. It was a birthday gift from her aunt. She loves it and it wipes up clean easily.

  • Depends on what you want to spend. PB Kids, Land of Nod and RH Baby & Child all have nice options. We got a cheap set from Ikea.  If you're up for painting/staining, you could also check our your local unfinished furniture place.

  • We have a cheapo one from Walmart too.  After the kids color on it, eat on it, spill on it, I'm very glad we went with a cheap one.

  • Ikea is pretty popular.

We have a kidkraft one from amazon. I hated assembling the dumb thing but it works well for us, I like that the wood sort of blends into our rooms. If it were in a playroom I wouldn't care so much but it is just off our kitchen. I used to let them eat there but now rarely do b/c it is an even worse mess than at the kitchen table & they constantly get up & walk around...but it is great for play-doh, drawing, snacks, 'picnic' playing, looking at magazines etc

  • IKEA x4

It's 20$, comes will 2 chairs, is sturdy enough for kids, but who cares if they color on it, sticker it up, etc.

Putting it together gave me a small headache but I think that might have been user error.

This, from Wal-Mart. $99 for table and 4 chairs. Chairs are sturdy enough that I can sit on them. Espresso finish looks great.
