NBR: MLS Listings

I might x-post this.

So, when we were selling our house, we were signed on with a realtor and got the MLS listings emailed to us.  It stopped a bit after our contract with her expired (she was our listing agent as well). 

I guess in order to get back on that distribution list, I need to sign a contract with another realtor?

    I think so.

    There are some websites with good listings though if you don't want to use a realtor yet, I use realtor.com to see what is out there.  Also if you know the location sometimes local realtors will have a really good website with all the listings in the area no matter who is selling them.

    We actually are getting the MLS listings for houses in a certain area that we wanted to buy in. We have since decided to wait a few years, but we are still getting those listings. We never signed a contract with the listing agent.

    How do you get this?  The email I used to get was cool because it alerted you when there were new listings.  And you could trash some and put some on a "possibilities" list.

    I get the listing daily in the morning and normally it highlight those houses that are new on the market or those with price changes. If your interested in a new agent, I can send over the agent we were using and have used in the past. We used him to buy our current TH. Let me know and I'll PM you the info.

    I'm in Harford. He is located in Baltimore City and he lives in Anne Arundel County. I think he is pretty comfortable in all areas.
