How many weeks and what fruit is your baby? 23 weeks and a papaya!
How are you feeling? Fighting a cold and GOD awful back pain.
Care to share more finalized names or thoughts on names? I am really stuck on Nolan. DH hasn't really said yay or nay but hasn't put in any other suggestions.
How are you dealing with picking up your LOs? Poorly. I haven't changed anything in regards to picking up DD until this past weekend. With the awful back pain I've been having I am trying to A. have someone else pick her up and hand her to me and B. if I do pick her up, to lift with my legs. It stinks.
What is different about this pregnancy than your last one? This pregnancy is pretty similar other than the exhaustion in the beginning that I don't remember with DD and did I mention the back pain yet!?
Big news this week? Nothing big really. I am really starting to prepare for his arrival by figuring out the what furniture we will be keeping and/or needing for everyone's bedrooms.
I am cracking up at this because I JUST noticed this weekend that DD grunts when she bends over to pick up something... I KNOW she learned that from me. I was putting things on the floor and asking her to pick them up just so I could enjoy her grunting noises. I laughed until I cried.
Half a poppyseed, I love it!
How many weeks and what fruit is your baby? 32 weeks, I think the bump says a "squash" with a pic of a pumpkin? He's big, I know that :P
How are you feeling? Pretty awful. I overdid it yesterday with the walking and (eep) moving furniture around and I am huuuurting today. Everything hurts, but the pelvic pain is insane. I could cry.
Care to share more finalized names or thoughts on names? He will be Wade Robert still. My H has nicknamed him "Wade Bob" which I despise, but no plans to change the name either.
How are you dealing with picking up your LOs? When he needs picking up, I pick him up. He's in a new independent new-walker stage, so that's tough b/c when we're out and about he wants to be held, then walk, then held, then walk...lots of up and down. But that's what he wants/needs, so that's what we do. I deal.
What is different about this pregnancy than your last one? The pain is intense. Mostly pelvic/pubic pain. So intense. And I can't sleep when I want to, or as soundly as I used to be able to. C still bedshares and night-nurses, so I get a LOT less sleep than I did even last time. It's really tough. I am very, very ready to be done being pregnant. I'm trying to conciously remember all the movement and kicks and how special it all is b/c I know someday I'll look back and regret how OVER IT I am, but I'm in pain and I'm really ready to not be in pain like this any more.
Big news this week? Hmm...the boy's room is painted and put together and we got C's nursery re-painted and set up as a guest room. If I think too much about how quickly that room went from empty to his room to a guest room (i.e. how quickly the last 2 years of my life have flown by), I could get really emotional about it. But I am a damn hormonal mess these days, so I'm going to just stop thinking and typing about it instead.
StefandTod - 2 things...
First the pelvic pain you are having: can you feel it in the front and the back? Is it a sharp pain in one spot.. tell me about it basically. Like I said in PP my back pain is outta control all of the sudden. After Dr.Google-ing it I think I figured out it is posterior pelvic pain. I never had this in my previous pregnancy and if this doesn't go away, I am going to be miserable.
Secondly, I am just logistically curious... I see you are still bedsharing with C, when the new baby comes are you planning to bedshare with both kids?
How many weeks and what fruit is your baby? 5w 5d, appleseed
How are you feeling? great - finally a little nausea today
Care to share more finalized names or thoughts on names? If it's a girl, she's Anne. If it's a boy, I have no idea because DH didn't like any of my suggestions for DS, and DS's name was the only name I could stand off of his list.
How are you dealing with picking up your LOs? Not an issue right now
What is different about this pregnancy than your last one? No symptoms. I don't remember when I felt symptoms last time, but until today, I haven't felt nausea, and it's not really that bad. I'm also not tired like I was last time. I'm still early, though.
Big news this week? Nope. I go for a prelim appointment next week, then have a real appointment in November.
We have a full size floor bed set up in the boy's room, a queen bed in the guest room, and a king bed in our room and are just sort of open to figuring out something that works best for all of us as issues arise. The baby will sleep in the rock n play at first, and he and I might end up in the guest room, or my H and C might end up in C's room on the floor bed...we don't really have a set plan at this point. So yeah, another thing I'm going to b*tch and moan about without making any changes (b/c as much as I might complain, I really really love snuggling with him all night ).
// I love you too. //
Eeeeeek! Congratulations!
Ahhhh! So exciting! Good luck to you guys!
And ZOMG could Ivy be any cuter?
How are you feeling? All right. The hormones aren't TOO crazy (yet). Fatigue, on the other hand, is kicking my butt. I wish I were still a SAHM just so I could take a nap in the middle of the day. lol. I have also been experiencing bouts of queasiness, but I know a lot of pregnant women have it MUCH worse, so I definitely can't complain.
Care to share more finalized names or thoughts on names? For a girl, I like Eloise (I think I told you guys already?) No idea for a boy, though..
How are you dealing with picking up your LOs? Still doing OK. DD1 is getting pretty heavy, so I have her sit on my lap a lot instead of picking her up. DD2 isn't all that heavy, and my bump isn't that big yet, so no issue there.
What is different about this pregnancy than your last one? The symptoms. I never felt nauseous before. Never really had any cravings either. Also, coffee has lost its appeal for me
Big news this week? You all already know that, but we had the NT scan this weekend and the hematoma is GONE! And if the u/s tech is to be believed, we might be soon welcoming our first boy into our family Pretty excited (and a little scared as to what I'm going to do with a boy now lol)
How are you feeling? Like absolute sh!t. Ugh. I have severe heartburn/reflux, some weird muscle situation on my right side, ridiculous headaches......wah, wah, cry, cry.
Care to share more finalized names or thoughts on names? boy: Grayson Matthew girl: undecided, possibly Mila Rose or Charlotte Rae
How are you dealing with picking up your LOs? I think this is what is giving me the muscle pain. He has been mad teething and therefore very clingy and wants to be held. All. The. Time. I am starting to really struggle with holding him, but it breaks my heart not to pick him up.
What is different about this pregnancy than your last one? So. Out. Of. Shape. haha
Big news this week? Nada

How are you dealing with picking up your LOs?
Bending isn't a good idea right now. *gag*
What is different about this pregnancy than your last one?
With Lilu I was sick only in the morning and I would feel better after puking. With this baby I just feel like hell all the time.
Big news this week?
No, thank god. We're working on turning our office/guest room/library into a bedroom or nursery. I want an outdoor playground for Lilu too. She needs to burn off some energy before naptime and bedtime. Right now she's using me as a playground!
How many weeks and what fruit is your baby?
10w5d, prune
How are you feeling?
starting to feel better, not sick all day like I have been! Still dry heaving in the morning
Names? It is a surprise but we still don't have any boy name
how are you dealing with pickling up LO? No problems yet.
what is different? I'm much sicker this time around! A lot!
no big news this wee.
How many weeks and what fruit is your baby? 26w 6d. Um, not sure what fruit I am. Whatever my ticker says
How are you feeling? pretty good, overall. Bending over is getting to be a PAIN, and carting DD up the stairs really isn't a blast. But surviving, otherwise.
Care to share more finalized names or thoughts on names? Easton Steven
How are you dealing with picking up your LOs? Like, physically? It's a pain to cart her around. She's heavy, and my belly gets in the way.
What is different about this pregnancy than your last one? Everything
Big news this week? DH got the job offer! And I applied for a new job close to where we will be moving. The plans are in motion! We are looking at houses on Thursday.
