I know a couple of you mentioned that your baby had heart rates your first couple appointments... I did also (179, 160, 165 the last)

What did the baby wind up to be? Was the wive tale right? This is just for fun

It was true for us. I think only once the HB was 131 but the rest were in the 160's and 170's. She consistently hangs out in the 160's. Are you finding out? GL

Great to know! Yes not until another 3 weeks and am I so incredibly anxious! We have been given 3, 30 gallon bins full of baby girl clothes so I am wanting to go through them and wash and put away.. wish I knew!!

DS was high a couple times but usually in the 150s. This little one had always been low and we think it's a boy based off an ultrasound from a couple weeks ago. We will find out for sure in a couple weeks.

it was true for us! our babies HR was always over 160 and we found out were having a girl!

At our first several appointments, our baby had high heart rates 160s and 150s. We found out yesterday we are having a boy. At yesterday's appointment, though, his heart rate was 139. Good luck to you!

My daughter's HR was always in the 160's. This baby has been in the high 140's and is another girl. Wives tale not true in our case with the second!

Ours was 180, 150, and 145. The wives' tale was right! We are having a girl!

The first heart rate at 6 weeks said girl, but every heart rate check after that said boy and it's a boy! Also, I know they are all 50/50, but every wives tale predictor said boy for us and here we are! Good luck!

Obviously the HB says girl and I did two other wives tale tests: the ring on a string and baking soda. Both said girl.

But I definitely have boy cravings. All i want is a hunk of meat (steak, pulled pork, chicken, cheeseburgers..doesnt matter) and anything with cheese.

I also "feel" like it could be a boy. Did anyone have a correct intuition?

I am the most impatient person so this is hard to wait. I want to go out and start buying!!!

I too am dying to find out! My baby's heart rate has been in the 160s the four times we've been to the doctor. I will update on whether it is a boy or a girl! I won't know until next Friday.

Im having a girl and it was right for me. all of my heart rates where in the 160 170s except for one which was 139 but the dr thinks the baby was sleeping.
