I wore DD at the pumpkin patch today! She did so good. We left town at 9 am we were at the pumpkin patch from 102. I changed her there twice and fed her once before we left and I NIP there once. It was a great day. She slept the whole time I wore her. I feel so much better now about going out in public now that I know she likes her carrier. I used the Bjorn today, but I also have a moby. It was about 80 degrees in CA today...I though the moby might be too hot. To any mamas who haven't worn baby I definitely recommend it. As a FTM I have anxiety about going in public with DD by myself with her stupid heavy carseat.

    i took Marian to Walmart today (first time without DH) and wore her in the Moby the whole time. it was actually a pretty great experience. i was able to push a cart without any issues, and with the exception of picking up things from the bottom shelf, it went off without a hitch. 

    wearing her has been a complete lifesaver!

    I love my moby, and I'm totally jealous of your part of California! It is 100 degrees where I live today.

    I haven't worn LO yet because I got a carrier secondhand and it's too big for her. I'm getting sick of lugging her carseat and she's not even 8 lbs. yet.

    I got a seven slings brand sling that works well, but if LO is fussy he tends to get fussier while I try to get him into it comfortably.  Once he's in though, it works great.  I also tested out our bjorn for the first time a few days ago & LO seemed to like that one a bit more.  He was unconscious from feeding to feeding lol :-P

    That's awesome!  I wish I was competent enough at wrapping my Moby to use it more, especially in public.  For now, the k'tan will have to do.  But I agree, wearing K when we go out makes all the difference!

    E loves the Ergo and the K'Tan. I can walk the dog with him in the Ergo and  today we walked to the grocery store. He sleeps the whole time.

    I've tried wearing DS twice with the moby. He tends to slide down a lot and ends up looking very uncomfortable. It makes me anxious and everything goes to hell. He may just not be big enough for it yet. He was only 7lbs at his last appointment.

    I didn't mention in my OP that I'm not very skilled at wrapping the moby either which is another reason I didn't use it today also!

    Thanks to all you ladies always talking about wearing I'm glad I finally just did it. I didn't even bring the stoller so I had to either wear her or carry her.

    Omg I totally agree! I've told my pregnant friends that the carrier is a necessity, not a luxury. My most used baby gear other than the bassinet are the carriers mei tai and ring sling .

    I tried on my Moby with the baby for the first time today- it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be to get it on and her in.  I'm excited to wear her somewhere other than around the house.

    I found baby wearing to be so much easier than strollering. It made the difference between going out and not going out for me. I'm glad it went so well.

    I've worn DD a couple of times now in the Ergo. We went to the zoo on Saturday, and it was so great to be able to wear her and feed her while we walked around with DS.
