They are always free, same as the nursing canopy and the sling. There is always a code to get them free, just pay shipping. I gave in to the sling offer and it was a piece of crap. Very cheaply made. Not sure about the canopy. Just an FYI, you aren`t supposed to place anything between the car seat and the baby so the whole canopy caboodle set is not safe to use.

Oh I never knew they were always free lol. Well I ordered the canopy and it did give another coupon code for the sling and breast feeding cover. It's CARSEAT in case anyone wants to know.

Besides, any aftermarket product that is not made by your car seat company (ie Graco, Chicco, ect) will void warranties. Plus they just aren't safe.

I'm not sure why the other moms are being so negative. I understand some safety concerns on a few products, and I respect and appreciate the opinion. But the car seat cover just goes over the car seat... not that big of a deal. Great for temporary use like when running from the car to the front door in rainy Florida weather.

I took advantage of the car seat canopy deal and I like it. It'll serve its purpose just fine - to cover baby when we walk to the car in the snow or cold. I didn't get the caboodle thing though.

they are being negative because this company also does the "free" sling, nursing cover, and other "free" things. Also some people have mentioned on several other sites that they NEVER got the product and contacting the company was useless. Also people have mentioned the stitching is very severely lacking.

But with the car seat thing, they are talking about their "Whole Caboodle" thing, the code will hack off $50 or something off if you got the whole caboodle. Except the thing is, is that all or part of the stuff in that bundle is not safe or will void any warranty for the car seat they are put on.

Also.... those codes never expire. try the code "CHRISTMAS" or "FAMILY2012" or "ucovers" or "dmf47a3" or "MYSAVINGS" or "babytips" or "ABABY10" or one of the millions of codes out there..... the point is, like others said. It's not a promotion, they have always been "free".

Here I was all excited thinking I found some great deal LOL. Well I got the canopy cover because it's just $12 and the caboodle thing just seemed to redesign the car seat unnecessarily. It also looked like a hassle to put on in the 7min video.

Dang, y'all need to lighten UP! Canopies aren't used in the car, they're used when you're transporting the baby in the carrier. They're also good if you're out in public and you either don't want to expose the young newborn to germs or to let him/her sleep better. Oh, and I have about 3 of those nursing covers. I think they're a great deal, and totally not crap. I've had plenty of compliments on the patterns, and they served their purpose from week 1 all the way until I stopped nursing when DD was 13 months old.

Thank you, OP, for your thoughtfulness in sending out that code. I am sorry that others are having bad days and feel the need to lash out at you for no good reason.

People are just trying to point out that the product isn't worth the shipping costs. If you read reviews online from this company - the carseat canopy, sling, nursing cover - are all cheaply made. I actually own the nursing cover. It served it's purpose (to cover me while pumping in the car). If I was crafty or owned a sewing machine, I could have easily have made the same thing for probably $2-3. Shipping was around $10.

Lol! Go ahead and buy it all! They are pieces of crap that I could sew with cheap fabric too. There are many other nicer to use nursing covers, I like the ones with the plastic built in them so you can still see baby with your hands free. There are also much more useful car seat canopies out there. I personally like the ones that have elastic around the bottom for summer time use so bugs can't get in. If you live somewhere cold this "Free" canopy won't keep baby warm. And don't even get me started on the sling...
