Ergo carrier. Is there anything between you and baby?

I can't seem to find any pictures of the inside of the carriers. H wants a carrier that has a panel between his front and the baby. He doesn't want to sweat on the baby when he is hot due to direct front to front contact.

    get a beco butterfly 2, it has a panel between you & the baby. i have one and love it.

    I agree with PP that the butterfly is probably what you're looking for.

    (But i have to add that my first thought was "your shirt?" Since I don't tend to wear her a lot topless and have never had a problem with not having an extra panel with my ergo)

    No panel, but that was part of the reason we liked it.  We used it for skin to skin contact at home sometimes.  Otherwise, we did fine and didn't sweat on DD.

    I agree with the Beco Butterfly II rec (we have one and really like it) but wouldn't his shirt provide an extra layer? Keep in mind that carriers can be rather warm, IMO. He might do well with one of the Ergos designed to be cooler (I think it's the Sport?) if he doesn't like the Beco.

    I have the ergo performance which I got to allow maximum airflow around me and baby. I've been toting DD everywhere in it and am loving this thing more and more.

    Over the summer when I was particularly sweaty, I just put a small washcloth under DD's cheek so it wasn't resting against my skin.  Sort of in my cleavage. 

    Buit Becos seem to have a strong following as well :)  I almost went with the Gemini because LO can face outward too.

    I said this to H but he doesn't want the babies face resting on his sweaty shirt. He thinks the baby will get sweat rash on his face from laying right against his shirt. He thinks the panel will add a layer of protection for baby to rest on. Due to pain issues I have H will be doing most of the baby wearing when we are out and about. I am getting whatever he wants because of that reason.

    Do you have a Buy Buy Baby near you?  They will let you try all the carriers on and have a heavy doll you can put into the carrier.
