I get the birth announcements that are sent to our local paper... some of the names are just... incomprehensible...

Mavrik

Lynzee

Bowen

There have been many other strange ones, I should start keeping a list...

    Bowen is a name. Usually a last name. Alyxzender, Mavrik, and Lynzee are scary.

    Bowen's a legit name.  DH has a cousin named Bowen and I'm pretty sure it's a family name on his mom's side.

    The rest are, indeed, pretty awful.

    I had never heard it before.. I admit it's not as bad as some I've seen, (we can't all like all names just because they're legit), but for some reason it makes me think of whales..
