Two-person nursery rocker?

Hello,

I really would like a rocker for our nursery that both my husband and I can fit in, so we and our baby can rock/nurse/snuggle together. The closest thing I can find, though, is the "Nurseryworks Storytime Rocker" which is "nearly" double-wide -- so and adult and child can sit side-by-side. My husband and I are not big people, but I don't think that would work for us. (Plus it's really expensive!)

I feel like I shouldn't be the first person to ever want a rocker that two parents can use together, but I can't find anything else, except for outdoor porch rockers that aren't very cozy. Has anyone found anything like this?

I have never seen anything like this. I doubt there are many on the market. It would take up a heck of a lot of room. Our recliner takes up a quarter of the nursery alone and it is normal sized but we have to have it pulled away from the wall so it won't bump when we recline. You could just get a love seat but that wouldn't rock.

How about a rocker recliner instead of a glider? I think they're a lot more comfortable. And they make loveseat rocker recliners that might work for you. They can be pretty pricey, though.

Have you thought about just putting a loveseat in the nursery instead? I don't think I've ever seen a two person rocker like you are talking about.

Check the maker - Little Castle Chairs - or something like that. I had a store nearby that had chairs by them and I fell in love with a chair and a half that rocked with an ottoman. It was about 1k though, so they are not cheap and I'm not sure of your budget. You can build your own as far as fabric is concerned and they have ths softest cordouroy materials in multiple colors. Really nice chairs for the price. Unfortunately before I could purchase the chair from the store, they went out of business, so I settled for the rocker at BRU for 350 bucks. It's the same cordouroy but just not a two-seater. Good Luck!
