October 15th - Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day

Hello Ladies,

Today is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. I'm planning on doing some tidying up at the cemetery then the DH and I are going to lay single flowers on all of the graves in the Babyland section of the cemetery where our Edyn is.

Do any of you have plans for today? Are any of you participating in the candle lighting at 7PM? If you would like to post some... I'd love to see photos of your special plans for today. I'll post some of mine later on.

Thoughts and prayers for all of you ladies. May we all find comfort during these grueling days.

That sounds absolutely lovely! How sweet to leave flowers for the other angels too. I am planning on lighting a candle tonight but having a lit candle is difficult with a 2.5 year old. I may buy batteries for my flameless candle instead.

I'm at work today - but Devon is really on my mind, and I'll be lucky to make it through the day without breaking down.

We had him cremated, so tonight when I light my candle, I'll light it in what would've been his room by his cremation and memory boxes. I'll say a prayer for him and all the lost angels, along with posting a memorial thing on FB, Twitter and my blog. I think DS and I will probably go for a walk, too, to enjoy the day and remember Devon in peace.

I will be lighting a candle tonight right next to Bri's urn and be thinking about all the lost babies.

Thank you for this info and it is really sweet of you to leave flowers for all the babies. I will definitely light a candle at 7pm next to Ava's memory box. I think it's too soon for me to attend any public memorial services though.

We will light a candle tonight as well. I am thinking of lighting the candle DH and I lit together at our wedding as it is a symbol of our family.

The hospital I delivered at is having a Walk to Remember on Saturday and DH and I will attend. It will be the first public event we have attended to honor Patricia and I am both excited and scared!

I will light the candle that the funeral home gave us. Today is so incredibly hard, knowing that the boys' due date would have only been two weeks from now. Hope everyone else is doing the best they can.
