Sippy cup question

It's amazing what you forget when you when your children are 9 years apart! My twins are 10 months and I am attempting to get them ready for sippy cups. The 16 year old that has never had children working at BRU was NO help. Has anyone started cups? If so, which cups seem easier to transition from the bottle with? Thank you all in advance.

We have tried every kind of sippy cup they make. The best luck we've had so far is with a regular open cup.

The best thing I can suggest to pick one up that you like and give it a shot.

DS can't figure out a straw yet, we like the Nuby soft spout sippies.

DS hasn't done well with sippy cups. He's mastered the straw ones though. Our favorites are the Nuby straws.
I kinda feel like it's a trial and error thing. Every child seems to be different.

Our pedi told us to start with the 2 handled cups with the soft mouthpiece. We started DS at 6 months and he did great with those

We started with Playtex Straw and Nuk trainer cup. He really does great just with the Take n Toss ones now .

Thank you all very much! I am going to pick up the sippys with the straws. One twin did better with the soft spout than the other, but seeing how they both drink water out of my camelbak, this may work out well for both. Thanks again.

LO really only likes the straw cups also.
