I have twin boys who just turned 3 months and were born at 33 weeks. They are very different in many ways and I know that I cannot compare them to each other, but I was wondering more as a general idea. One LO is very much an infant. He smiles, coos, "talks", holds his head up nice, rolls from front to back etc. His 'little' brother is still very much a newborn. He still crunches up in a little ball, smiles but doesn't really talk much, has a hard time with tummy time and would rather fall asleep than ever consider rolling or pushing up. I was just wondering if anyone else's preemies acted similar around this age and when the 'turning point' was for them. TIA.

Re: Developmental differences
My 33 weekers are 17 months old and they are still both very different developmentally. One is much more advanced when it comes to physical milestones, while the other was much more, shall we say, relaxed. She really struggled with tummy time for a while, but she is a very active little one now. I think she just had a pretty substantial amount of growth to do to catch up physically, whereas her sister was bigger and stronger when she was born.
I think as preemie moms we are obsessed with milestones, and when you have twins it just makes it worse.
