So I am trying to wean DS from breast to bottle. He used to take a bottle/formula just fine! Now he is refusing of course because I want to switch him. He won't even take an ounce. I am trying to give it to him at low-stress times, tried Nuk, Nuby, Playtex, and Born Free bottles so far.
I am just not sure how to get him to take it. I know its better if it is a slow process but honestly he is biting me (to the point of bleeding) with his teeth and I want to stop NOW. I have tried everything to stop the biting, so now I would like to switch him to bottles.
How do I do it?
Re: Switching to Bottles
No I didn't! That is a good idea, I will try that next feeding.
Probably a silly question but how do you warm up the nipple? I will try anything and everything!
Wow! Your LO has teeth? How many? Thats my fear that LO will bite once his teeth come in.
Wow...I will probably be switching to bottles too when LO's teeth come in.
Yeah I would suggest tomme tippee. And with teething I've said "I'm not betting on nothing and well see what happens." I'm pretty sure I will not like being bit.
Good luck.
I know my LO likes a warm bottle or room temp. She had this gooey spit up when you give it to her cold.
