Black stringy poop. What does this mean?

LO just turned 8 weeks yesterday and is exclusively breastfed. Her first morning diaper was regular yellowish poop with 2 black looking stringy things in it. What does this mean? She seems fine, like not sick or fussy. It's Sunday where I'm at, so her pedi is closed. She has her 2 month shots tomorrow. Should I be worried now? I also took a pic.

  • Thanks for that reminder. I forgot that they should be in good health before taking any shots. Ugh, my mind has been all over the place lately, I would have probably brought it up after the shots.

  • Black (other than Maconium) can mean blood that has sat in LO system. You should call the pedi right away and ask about it.
