Eating Schedule & Snacks

Curious to hear what other people's solids eating schedule is like as well as what they are eating and about how much.

We recently cut out one bottle, so now down to just three a day:, first in the am, one in early afternoon after nap(2/2:30) and bedtime bottle. And for solids it's breakfast, lunch, and "dinner" (at 4/4:30). Problem is the long morning stretch where he eats breakfast at 8/8:15 am, naps, and then doesn't lunch til 12. What snack/food can I give him w/o filling him up before his lunch?

Re: Eating Schedule & Snacks

  • You can give him toast with a bit of butter or margarine on it.  My DD loves that because it's soft and warm. Fruit cup, cheerios, puffs, pieces of avocado. These are some of things I give to my DD.

  • Smoothies along w/ some puffs or animal crackers..

  • Thanks for the ideas, all. There was an earlier post I didn't see beforehand that also had a lot of ideas. I do sometimes give him lunch earlier but then it's a long stretch to nap time & his afternoon bottle. On to snack time!!
