We have a removable nozzle so sometimes we have used it when DS really needed a thorough cleaning in a particular location and/or he refused to sit for the bath and/or we needed the bath to be done fast. Well, he really likes the nozzle. He calls showers "water fall" and now he prefers them over a bath. Most of the time we end up turning the shower on. Does anyone else have an LO the same way? Just curious.
Re: anyone else's LO do showers instead of baths?
Charlie is TERRIFIED of the shower head. Like, will scream as if we're murdering him, if we put him in the shower - even with us.
This will be fun as he gets older.

One time I needed to give DS a quick rinse (I wasn't going to run a bath--just wanted him to stand in the tub while I wet him down); and I forgot that the shower head was still on. When the water fell on him from above, he about had a heart attack.
So, I think we'll be sticking with baths for awhile. Plus, he loves the whole bath routine with his bath toys, and he'd miss out on that with a shower.
We do showers exclusively. So much faster, easier, and a million times cleaner than baths. We also have the removable shower head hose. I usually shower with hazel which is even more time efficient.
N gets showers about half the time. He just hops in with me to save time. He likes showers, but probably likes playing the bath more. He's gotten baths exclusively the past two weeks though because I decided it wasn't really safe anymore with my growing belly since I can barely see my own feet, having a toddler in the shower with me probably isn't the best idea.
I'm not sure at what age it becomes inappropriate anyhow?
Yeah, pretty much this. Also, DH tried to use shaving cream to "draw" on L's tummy during her bath yesterday & she FREAKED and was yelling, "GET ME OUT! DON'T TOUCH IT!" Not sure what was so scary about shaving cream.
We've been showering with Lily since her cord fell off. She likes the shower, but prefers baths because she can play. I'm glad we did the shower first because she could care less if water is dumped over her head to rinse her hair.
We're also not sure what age it becomes inappropriate, because DH still takes her in the shower with him. I'm guessing he won't be able to for much longer.
Pretty much this. She hates water on her head in general so washing her hair is a challenge every time. I have to rinse it out as quickly as possible because she hates every second of it and I can't convince her to close her eyes or tilt her head back.

Lol! DD loves bubbles in the bath, but hates when they get on her and she can't rinse them off. She flips the eff out. She also hates for her bath toys to get bubbles on them. She keeps trying to grab clean towels from next to the tub to "clean" her duckies. It's hilarious.
I've showered with DD occasionally with mixed results. Tried it yesterday and she refused to participate (i.e. wouldn't let me take off her shirt.)
