Ergo infant insert vs. Moby

I'm getting an Ergo for sure. But I'm not sure whether to get the infant insert (I've heard the inserts are hot for the baby, but I'm having a winter baby) or if I should get a Moby wrap and then transition to the Ergo once my LO is big enough.

    I am looking at the Ergo as well. I know several people who have one and instead of getting the hot infant insert, they have success just rolling up a towel or blanket and placing it inside. Not exactly sure of the detail as to where you place it, but it works for everyone I know who has used it like that!

    I also just used a receiving blanket instead of the insert. Just roll in up and place it under their butt :.
