Baby boy is due in 10 days and we still don't have a middle name. Originally, we were set on Leo James, which I still love but DH decided he doesn't like (because he views it as a "filler" middle name). Any other suggestions? IOur last name is 2 syllables and starts with V. We had also considered Leo Parker and DH now loves Leo Hudson...I'm not in love with either.

Re: Middle name for Leo?
I love Leo James! Here's a few other's you might not have thought of;
Leo Cameron, Leo Maxwell, Leo Brennan, Leo Hunter, Leo Jacob, Leo Dane, Leo Harrison, Leo Tristan, Leo Patrick?
I love Leo James too! It makes me sad that DH doesn't like it any more...I love Maxwell, and actually want to use it if we have another boy, so don't want it as a MN
Brennan is nice, will bring that up to DH. Harrison I also like but its meaning is "son of Harry' which Dh doesn't like (since his name isn't Harry, lol). Patrick I also like, but it sounds Irish and we're not
Thank you!!!
Leo Malachi
Leo Hugh
Leo Moses
Leo Marcus
Leo Denver
Leo Franklin
Leo Abraham
Leo etienne
Leo & Maxwell would sound lovely together for siblings. Good call!
May I ask what your DH's name is? I seemed to suggest a few Irish names there, but would you like some more? Leo is definitely a handsome name
DH's name is Alexander...I like Leo Alexander, actually, but I want LO to have his "own" name, if that makes sense. I happen to love Irish names, but don't want something that screams Irish (like Patrick or Liam or Finnegan, if you know what I mean
). And thanks, we love Leo as well.
I like Leo James.
Leo Alexander
Leo Christopher
I keep coming back to Leo James though.
Leo Alexander is also lovely, but if you want something slightly different, what about:
Leo Alan, Leo Zane, Leo Benjamin, Leo Reece, Leo Charles, Leo Bryce, Leo Adam, Leo Roderick, Leo Wilson, Leo Duncan, Leo Samuel, Leo Nathaniel, Leo Atticus, Leo Morgan, Leo Elliot, Leo Jasper, Leo Gabriel, Leo Joshua, Leo Thomas, Leo Gregory?
I know! I'm so disappointed that DH is changing his mind all of a sudden. I like Leo Alexander a lot too...Leo Christopher I'm eh about (possibly because I had a terrible ex bf named Christopher...).
I love Jack, but always think of it more as a first name. Thanks though!
Leo Anthony
Leo Andrew
Leo Brent
Leo Oliver
Leo Henry
I like Leo Benjamin, Leo Charles, Leo elliot, and Leo Joshua...DH doesn't like any of them. I like Leo Thomas, but wonder if it might be too Catholic/Saint sounding (we're Jewish)? I do like Leo Jasper, but don't love the meaning of Jasper. Samuel is our cousin's name...the others are NMS. Thank you so much though!
I like the names you both have thought of but here are some other suggestions:
Leo Alexander, Leo Miles, Leo Anthony, Leo Michael, Leo Henry, Leo Bryce, Leo Hayden, Leo Charles, or Leo Marcus. Good luck!
DH actually suggested Leo Henry...I always think of Henry as a first name, so not sure how I feel about it as a middle name. I love Oliver, but worry that the LeO Oliver might sound weird? Thank you!
I like Leo Hayden actually...just looked up the meaning and it means "heathen", lol. Don't think DH will go for that unfortunately...
I think Leo Thomas is adorable! But if you're worried about that, see if your DH likes it? I'm Jewish too, but Israeli Jewish..
Leo Oliver is really cute. The "-o" ending and beginning throws it off a little, but that might be just me being a little OCD! Here's some more ideas;
Leo Marcus, Leo Zachary, Leo Abram, Leo Dexter, Leo Raphael, Leo Jonathan, Leo Nathan, Leo David, Leo Porter, Leo Malachi, Leo Dashiell, Leo Daniel, Leo Zachariah, Leo Gideon, Leo Seth, Leo Brandon, Leo Isaac, Leo Ruben, Leo Saul, Leo Micah?
Leo is adorable. I agree that Leo James and Leo Alexander are very nice. But, I understand why they are of the table.
Some options: Leo Silas, Leo Joseph, Leo David, Leo Maddox, Leo Bennett, Leo Elliott, Leo William, Leo Garion, Leo Allen, Leo Aaron, Leo Cole, Leo Augustus.
Your DH sounds like mine. He wants to know meanings, he makes associations, and he vetoes names for some vary random reasons (at least in my opinion). Anyway, some suggestions using names my DH likes.
Leo Gabriel
Leo Marcus
Leo Elias
Leo Daniel
Leo Robert
Leo Nathaniel
I actually love Leo Augustus...DH vetoed, lol. Leo Maddox is cute, but I feel like Maddox might be tooo "out there"? I also like Leo Joseph! Thanks !:)
Ha yes! The name has to "have meaning"--and it has to be a meaning that he likes, lol. I like Leo Robert, but Robert is DH's brother. I also like leo Gabriel--DH vetoed. Boo to having a DH with strong opinions! Leo Marcus is nice...thank you!
