nc maternity leave benefits?

Hi there,

I was writing to see if anyone knows if NC offers paid leave/short term disability to women on maternity leave. I work for a small business with no paid maternity leave offered.

    My understanding is there is nothing offered through the state. Only benefits would be offered through your employer. Sorry!

    This! I looked extensively before getting pregnant with #3, but could not find anything. I worked just under the hours needed for benefits, stinks!

    I do not think there are any state benefits.

    Look into short term disability. I think one of my friends actually did this and got 6 weeks. Not full pay but it was something.
