No progesterone after IUI?

My RE didn't give me a prescription for progesterone after my IUI this morning. Should I call and request it?

    In the past, I've gone back for bloodwork 2 days after my IUI and they tested my progesterone. It was after that when I was told my numbers were low and to give myself another shot of Ovidrel.

    Maybe call the office and ask what is their protocol for checking your progesterone after an IUI.

    Have you been on progesterone before?  I don't get progesterone after my IUI, but I didn't take it during cycles previous to IUI either.  If you have been prescribed it before, then call and ask.  Or just call and ask anyway.

    DD conceived after 3 years of ttc.
    MFI - DH had varicocele repair and took Clomid to get DD b. 02/2010

    TTC #2 since 6/2010
    10/2012 DH diagnosed with Epilepsy
    A few failed IUIs summer 2012 and 2013. 
    DH taking clomid and waiting to see if he needs another vericocele repair. 
    Hoping for a 2015 baby or babies. 
    Wishing, hoping, waiting.

    This. I'm always prescribed progesterone so if that is the case I would call back and ask.

    I wasn't given Prog. on my Clomid cycles, only on the injectables. Were you on meds?

    I called and talked to my RE. He said if I get a BFP, we will start it.
