Can we have a Throat Punch post every day? Please? Because I looked for a place to post this that wouldn't be all post-whore-ish, but there wasn't one. So now there is. Feel free to join in.

This morning, somebody brought donuts to work, and made an announcement over the loudspeaker to let everyone know. Then, like a minute later, my boss gets on the loudspeaker to say that "Baby _____ also wanted donuts, so everybody eat up!" Apparently, another co-worker brought donuts. Great.

Part of me thinks this is a stupid thing to be annoyed over, and at least I got donuts out of the deal. Nevertheless, it pissed me off. So, at least there were donuts available to help calm me down. :P

Ugh--sorry RedPhoenix!

Mine is generic, but it was bugging me today: WTF is with those stupid "Baby on Board" car stickers. Like are the people in my car worth less bc there is no baby in there? Are we supposed to say, "oh I was going to hit you, but now that I see you have a baby--never mind!"

I'm sorry RedPhoenix. Sometimes things don't make sense logically but really get to us emotionally. I am sure that I would have felt the same way as you had I been in your situation. {{hugs}}

Agree with this as well. If anyone is a fan of George Carlin, he does a little bit about this and it is hilarious - most clips are on youtube!

I will join in on this!

I would like to TP the lady that sat beside us at TGFriday's tonight. She had a newborn that she rocked continuously. She even kept standing up and swaying with him. I don't think she could have attracted any more attention. I kept hoping all that rocking would lead to projectile vomit in her face, but no such luck. Ugh.

ITA! I used to think they were cute and definitely wanted one. Then I came to my senses.

I have to agree with all of you.

-Donuts are good, but not worth the annoyance suffered to get them!

-As a police dispatcher I get these calls constantly "This guy almost hit me and I have a baby in the car!" So, hang up the damn phone and stay away from mean driver. He did NOT hit you, ergo, I do not care!

Ok, I will try and post it daily.

I actually had a throat punch again..for a repeat offender. My MIL. A little back story: since we moved here in march, I figured that I could try and get closer to her by crafty things. I basically have never had a true mother figure in my own mom and MIL is dh's step mom and has no kids of her own. Well, a few months ago, I showed her these wine bottle tiki torches I found on pinterest. I don't drink and don't know where to even find the supplies, so I needed her help with this stuff. I figured it would be cool for us to do it together. Well, she took it over and even told DH that it was HER idea. I had to straighten him out by showing him the original idea from my pinterest account.

Today was her birthday party, she got a box full of empty wine bottles to do MY idea with. It was just another punch in the gut and I haven't gone to her with any of my ideas since.

Bwahaha, love that!! I feel the same way about those little family stickers that people put on their back windshields. I feel like every child sticker is a notch in the proverbial bedpost.

A while back, I saw a family sticker spoof that had needles and those little med jars. I couldn't find the pic to PIP, but I did find this in my search. The article it's from (clicky) is worth the read.
