My SO hooked up the iPad to his iPhone so he can get texts on both while he was out of state for work. He is back and usually leaves the iPad with me during the day. He forgot to change the setting back so his texts are still coming to the iPad and he is still getting the text from his phone at the same time....so I can read everything. Normally he is at home working but went to the office today. The iPad is going off non-stop with text messages sent and received. And even though I am not going into the message app, they are showing at the top of the screen so I can still see the text.
He works in sales and often gets perks like game tickets or concert tickets from his clients. His co-worker just asked for the number for the guy that works for the NBA in our area and was wanting a hook up. Before my SO could text him back, and say to not contact his clients.....his co-worker found the number and contacted the guy begging for the hook up. SO is pissed and going off on him! He said it is extremely unprofessional, he doesn't want to lose that client, and due to his co-worker being so unprofessional.....he isn't going to get him the hook up anymore. SO never asks for free stuff, if his clients give it to him and he cannot attend something, he gives it to a co-worker. And sometimes, if there is something we want to go to, SO calls and asks what the best websites are for tickets, or where we should sit, etc. Sometimes they will give him a deal or just give him some passes.....and SO always gives them hook ups on his end......but he NEVER will ask for free stuff. And he would never call someone else's client and ask for free stuff.
It's like a train wreck that I can't stop looking at. Co-Worker said he would call the client back. SO said not too and he would call him. Co-Worker said "I don't see what the problem is and you can have access to my clients whenever you would like". SO said he doesn't want access to them, but if he did, he would never talk to them without talking to Co-Worker first.
I feel so bad for SO right now because this is a really good client of his. Fingers crossed they only look at Co-Worker as the D bag and don't start buying elsewhere. Their big purchases are a big chunk of SO's income. Ugh!
