*~!~!~* Question of the week *~!~!~* What is your favorite thing about fall? Cooler temps! With this space heater in my belly, I did not enjoy the hot summer weather. I love highs in the 60's, jeans/boots/sweater weather!

My favorite thing about fall? Anything pumpkin! (Except pumpkin pie...blech. But give me pumpkin bread, pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin cupcakes...oh yeah!).

Also, I am no longer at a hospital with OB. I'm at a birth center with a midwife.

I love everything about fall! The changing colors, cooler weather, pumpkin treats and squash! I love that I can feel the holiday season coming on!

Update: I'm no longer at the hospital with my OB. I'm going to have a home birth with a midwife now!

My favorite thing about fall is not sweating just walking out of my house. Although I'm so not ready to give up my flip flops because none of my other shoes currently fit.

Bonfires and fires in our fireplace! And boots. I love wearing boots

Fall is also immensely more enjoyable as a mom! The apple orchards, pumpkin patches, carving pumpkins, playing in the leaves, and seeing my bright eyed-rosey cheeked boy come in after a romp outside with his dad!

I'm just happy it's fall b/c that means baby should be here soon!! :P

But really, I love it feels all cozy this time of year here. Like it's raining and a bit dark and kinda yucky, but it makes it a nice day to stay in and just relax watching TV. It also means I can start making my homemade mac and cheese and meals like that. Yay comfort food! lol

Eeeeeeee....it's getting really real for me ladies! I'm soo excited! I'm still feeling really confident!

My favorite thing about fall is the weather: not triple digit heat, but not anywhere close to freezing either. Perfect. I also feel like life slows down just a little bit in the fall and everyone isn't in such a rush.

Even though Autumn brings on the blues for me, its my favorite season. The weather is perfect (except the lack of sunshine), the colors are lovely, Halloween is my favorite Holiday of the year, but there's also Thanksgiving, I love layering my clothes, I love boots and knee or thigh socks, I love that my make-up doesn't melt and my hair doesn't stick to my face and neck from sweat, fires are a cozy way to warm up your house or backyard, soup and hot beverages are even more comforting, pumpkin-flavored everything is amazing and other squashes are great, people get so creative with clothing and colors in the fall and I love to people watch, and I am just going on and on...

In the fall it seems that at sunset/twilight time the light is warmer. Like all the changing leaves are reflecting the sun and altering the color of the world.

Had my beautiful son at 4:40am on October 10th, via emergency c-section. We've been in the hospital since then due to pneumonia caused by my GBS (didn't get my second dose of antibiotics in time). Fortunately, he only needs a 7 day round of antibiotics, so we'll be going home Thursday as long as his tachpynea (rapid breathing) has resolved itself. I plan on posting my birth story here once I finish it, as I feel like a lot can be taken from my experience, especially for women that are planning to go naturally.

Congrats to the mama's who gave birth! WOO HOO!! What is your favorite thing about fall? I LOVE fall..... my favorite thing is probably being able to wear jeans and sweatshirts again.... I love the brisk air (but not too cold of weather). And football season is right up there on my list of favorite fall things!

Fave thing about fall: the weather! I can't get enough of being outside in New England this time of year. I get a sense of complete euphoria when I'm running or biking or hiking in the fall.... it's just so pretty! That's why we got married in the month of October.
