Progesterone vag capsules?

The past few cycle I used crinone (the gel) and it was just absolutely disgusting..so I asked if they could change it.  Tonight I am supposed to start the vag caps...so all I do is just stick it up there at bedtime?  What if it falls out?  Did those that used these experience any discharge?

TTC #3 (#1 for DH) since September 2011. DX: Unexplained infertility with possible cervical factor. May 2012 did clomid with IUI - BFN August 2012 IUI #2 w/ follistim/letrozole - BFN September 2012 IUI #3 w/ follistim/letrozole - BFN October 2012 IUI #4 w/ follistim/letrozole - BFN November/December 2012 IVF/ICSI #1 Retrieved 12 eggs, 8 fertilized. Transferred 1 beautiful embryo and 5 made it to freeze. Got my BFP! January 2013 u/s showed empty gestational sac. FET cycle April 2013.  Transferred 2 5 day embryos.  BFP!!!!!  2 heartbeats!!!!  EDD:  12/27/13

    I have no idea. I start these this month after our IUI.

    Is it prometium?  If so, they aren't too bad. Yes, you stick it up there with your finger and go to bed. You will have discharge and it's yellow, so wear a panty liner.

    Ughh I start them on Sunday but I have to take them 2x a day morning and night.  RE warned me to wear a liner because they leak.

    Yes this although mine dc was clear.  I took this with my second pregnancy to help get my progesterone level up.  Sadly it did not work but they are very easy to use.

    I used those and had minimal discharge in the morning. The only time I had a problem with it coming out whas when I would cough pretty hard. After 20 minutes I think it is okay if it comes out, but by then I was usually alseep.

    18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!

    You know...I don't even know what it is!  It says "progesterone vag caps" on the prescription bottle.  lol...I am sure I tossed the intructions with the other papers when they came in with my other meds.  I assume it is prometrium..or a generic version. 

     Thanks for everyone's input!  This is my least fave part of treatments.  I prefer the shots over vaginal discharge.  DH pretty much has nothing to do with me once I start the progesterone.  :(

    Sorry to say but I found the sups VERY messy and I always had to wear a liner.
    After many years and tears our baby boy is finally here

    Yes, I just insert it like a non-applicator tampon. It won't fall out. There will be discharge. I only used crinone last cycle, every other attempt and during DS2 I used capsules. I would say there is the same amount of discharge, but crinone is SO much more expensive! And there is so much waste!
