Noah is here!

So apparently my little boy didn't want to wait until 2pm for his c-section and decided 2am was better. Got woken up from an ambien induced coma 2 hours after I fell asleep with tons of people in my room. OB tells me baby has decals down to 60 and he needs to come out now. I am barely grasping what is going but realize I need to call BF who had gone home to try and get some quality sleep. Fortunately we live 2 miles from hospital and he was able o make out what my confused brain was trying to tell him

The next 10 minutes was full of crazy activity getting labs drawn, foley placed, striping down and getting into gown, and heading to the OR. Was able to get spinal which didn't hurt and went really well. Csection was controlled but quick. Noah Benjamin arrived at 220a weighing 3lbs 10oz, 16.5 inches long. Cried immediately and had good color. Glucose was 10 at first so had to get some sugar. Also on a bit of bipap but otherwise doing great. I've been able to pump twice already and have gotten a few mLs of colostrum for when he can take feelings. He is precious and I am so in love. Getting ready to go see him again in a few. Will post pictures soon.

Oh my goodness, I just read your other post. Congratulations!! That must have been really scary for a few minutes, but it sounds like you both did great.

Welcome Noah! For being so early, with the issues you were having, he's a good size. I hope he continues to do well and his stay is short and boring! Congrats mama!

ETA: I've made the executive decision that despite you now being an October mama, your baby can still be a little turkey, because Canadian Thanksgiving is in October.
