Ok, so I get a call from them that they would like to meet Hunter and that they are having a baby assesment session on Saturday and would love for Hunter to come. Sounds great but they sent me a document with more information that says that they want to meet him and video tape him (of course with the parents there) and to see how he interacts with the people that work there. they want to video him to see if he will smile on cue and just how his personality is, but the thing is, the assesment costs $35. that is not a big deal but the fact that they want money to asses my child which could easily be done by sitting with him for 1/2 an hour seems a little crazy and scam like. It is a modeling agency, they can easily take pictures or something, but I have always been told that any modeling agency that wants any money in advance is not really real. Has anyone heard of them or worked with them and if so, what are your impressions. my DH still wants to do it, but I am weary and when I googled them, there were two reviews that both said they were a rip off.
Re: Kiddin Around Modeling agency
My friend did this with her first daughter and got selected for about five different products.
I saw Kep's note of $85 payment per gig though. That agency is making bank. I use to be on the other end and to purchase out the usage rights plus photoshoot for packaging it usually costs about $2,500.
