  • That's funny that they're having the same argument we had months ago.

  • Yep, but our version of the discussion was getting on someone for changing a diaper on the bathroom floor.  I won't start it back up again, but changing on the table also caused a big dissention.  I think we all agreed to disagree because everyone has different ideas of where it isn't ok to change a diaper.  But having worked in a restaurant (and retail), and can say that worse things have happened than dirty diapers.  Public places aren't clean.  Period.

It was me everyone was getting on because I put a blanket and then a changing pad on the floor of a restaurant restroom to change my daughter's diaper. It made me the Worst. Mom. Ever.

For the record, I still think it's utterly inappropriate to change a baby's poop diaper at the table in a restaurant.

And on a completely unrelated note, the new car seat we just dropped close to $250 on doesn't fit in the backseat of my car. Grrrrrrr

I"m actually really ticked and also amazed at how the car seats just don't Fn fit in the cars! We have a big car and yet the front seat has to be moved way forward for the seat to fit. It was the same with the infant seat. WTF! My husband is tall but not freakishly tall (6'3") and he can't ride in the passanger seat.

Yup! It fits, but only if the front seat is pushed up to the point were no one can sit in it. It's ridiculously frustrating.

Of course, I also change my daughter on bathroom floors (and on my lap and once in mid-air) when the restaurants don't have changing tables, so take my advice with a grain of salt. Wink
