Do you take your meds in the morning or at night? When I first started on 25mg, it made me nauseous so I switched to taking it at night. The nausea subsided after being on the drug for a few weeks. I felt great, but it seemed to disturb my sleep a bit - I was waking up too early in the morning. And it messes with my stomach, so I HAD to go potty as soon as I woke up. Last week, my doc upped the dose from 25 to 50mg, and I started taking it in the morning. Now, I'm super duper tired during the day. Do you think taking it at night would help with that since the higher dose is making me tired?
Also, how has Zoloft affected your appetite. Even after the nausea subsided, my appetite stayed pretty low, and I've been losing weight. Will this go away or will it become more severe as I increase the dose (doc ultimately wants me on 100mg +)? I was really surprised by this side affect since other SSRIs (prozac, celexa, etc) have made me super hungry in the past.
Re: Question for Zoloft users
I'm not sure I understand this...To me, low appetite and anorexia are totally different. Maybe they're using the term in a different sense though.
Maybe they have changed the wording on the side effect since I have used it and it does seem odd, but I remember it being listed as a side effect.
Ok, I'm not crazy, list of side effects-
