Heaven.
The rind is a bit...footie but its innards are basically buttery, and amazing. It's hard to describe.
It's not really stinky very mild depending on the type.
Yes.
It's like a mainstream triple cream w/o the funk. A footie-wrapped goey double cream if you will.

It really irks me when people don't eat the rind and just scoop out the innards.
It's just like floury cheese.
ME too that's the best part gah!!!!!
You ladies can have my rind. The actual cheese is delicious, but why would you eat the wrapper?
Another rind hater here...it tastes so bitter and funky- the inside isn't too bad. I'm not a huge brie fan, honestly. My family always has those brie cheese appetizers at the holidays and I try it every time, and spit it out like a dope. Kind of like candy corn. You always hope it will taste good, knowing it won't, yet you try it every time it's put in front of you.
Brie is a mild, inoffensive, low key kinda cheese, nothing to write home about. A good Brie can be delicious, though still mild, but more often than not the typical supermarket variety is boring at best. When I feel like a soft, easy going cheese, I get a good Brie, but Camembert is better.
I know I'm an effing snob, so please be original when you bash me about my cheese preferences.

Goat's Milk Gouda is amazing.
Love it.
First time I had Brie was at inlaws for a holiday. Think it was covered in cranberries or something, I forget... Mmm so good.
This response nearly made me snortlaugh out loud at my desk.

I mean, it's not my favorite part, but if you just slice the brie and get even amounts, you don't even notice it.
You taste like poop.
...said in my best Napoleon dynamite voice.
Followed by
"I eat pieces of shiit like you for breakfast!"
"....you eat pieces of shiit for breakfast?!"
Sorry not sure where all that came from.
Baked brie is one of my favorite things ever. EVER.
The goat's milk brie from TJ's is amazing!

You described it perfectly! And now I want it.
