Same co worker on two different occasions:
" That shirt makes your chest look deceptively large... " - Me stressing out already because I had to go out and get a bra 3 sizes larger, and I wasn't small before!
and today after I comment that none of my sisters went early with any of their children, so I don't think I will be either... "Well, we think you will be going early since you are so big already." I am not all that big. Pretty average for just 6 months. She then proceeded to ask me if twins run in the family and if I was sure that there was only one in there...
OUCH!!
Re: Inappropriate comments...
I get asked at least a couple of times every.single.day whether I am due any day now, or if I am having twins. People are stupid, that's the only answer I can come up with.
The chest comment was relatively inappropriate, but at least it came from a woman and she didn't use a more derogatory term. I have coworkers that I am friends with and I would laugh if they said that, and I have other coworkers that it would be weird coming from.
