Bleeding occasionally 4w PP?

My discharge is pretty much gone, to the point that I could just wear a thin panty liner, except every couple of days I have bright red bleeding. Not heavy, it would take several hours to soak a pad. And as quickly as it starts, it's completely gone again. This has been happening all through my recovery although at first I thought it might be due to breastfeeding, and the bleeding episodes were much heavier (but still didn't soak 1 pad/hr for more than an hour). But it doesn't really seem to be after I breastfeed. Does this seem abnormal?

I get the same thing and I'll be 5 weeks PP tomorrow. I always have to wear a pad b/c I never know when I'll get random bleeding. Annoying.

same thing with me. I wear a thin pantyliner because i still will have the very light red bleeding. So annoying.

With DS1, i bled for 5 weeks and it completely stopped by the time I had my 6 wk pp appt.

This. My OB said its normal for the amount to change.
