With my DD who is now 13 yrs old, I got down to 100 pounds when she was about 1 year old. NOT trying! I ate all the time like I do now but I just lose so much when I'm BF.
With my DS who is now 10 months I don't think it as bad but I don't know how much I weigh right now, only that I can wear a size 0-2 jeans. My skinny jeans are not even tight on my legs. Can you say "ew"?
Anyone else in my boat?
Re: anyone else getting too thin due to BFing?
OMG this!!! I weaned at 6 mo (was 8 lbs away from PP weight) But I now have to try HARD to lose.... and I struggle to find the time AND motivation to workout, I walk with DS but know I need to do more. I think my metabolism changed for the worse after having DS
Yes, my LO is MSPI and getting enough calories is a daily challenge. I feel like I eat a ton of food - burgers, fried chicken, whatever is most fattening on the menu without having dairy or soy in it, but it just doesn't make up for the missing milk, cheese, butter, etc.
I'm to the point where I'm having a very difficult time keeping my supply up as my body doesn't have any extra fat to draw on. Buying new clothes is about to empty my bank account as every time I think I've evened out, I drop again. And I'm weak thanks to the fact that I cannot work out and risk my supply dropping even more. I will breastfeed as long as I need to for LO's intolerance, but I am really looking forward to weaning as soon as he's over it. Or at least not worrying about my supply any more.

YES! NEVER in my life has anyone asked me if I'm ok and if I am eating. UM, my nickname all throughout highschool was BigFat because I could put away the food! My mom is very skinny and so was my grandmother. I eat all the time. I have had some nights where it is harder to eat or I don't eat as much because of the baby and her night time routine, etc. I am down to a size 2! What the heck?
I nurse the LO at night only b/c I have gotten plugged ducts every time I try to quit BFing. The annoying thing is that after I had the baby I got rid of all of my size 2 and xtra small stuff that I didn't imagine I would ever fit into again. Mainly b/c I was a size 4 pre pregnancy. I am trying to pack on the calories but it is not as easy as one might think.

I'm not one who has EVER been "skinny," but I'm about 5lbs lower than I was when I got pregnant (my son is just under 11 months). The problem is my belly! It's always been my thin area as opposed to my hips and thighs, but I'm told that some women hold fat in their bellies until they stop breastfeeding. I'm hoping I lose this fat once I stop BFing, too!
